Biography
Dr. Abdelaal earned his MBBS degree from Al Zagazig University in Egypt in 1989. He then earned a Master of Science in Pediatrics MS (Master of Science) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the same university in 1994 and 2006. Additionally, he is certified in Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), has a postgraduate degree in pediatric nutrition from Boston University, and is a member of the ENS (Munich University). Dr. Abdelaal began his career in Egypt, where he worked for ten years. Dr. Abdelaal relocated to Saudi Arabia (KSA) in 2000, where he worked as a Pediatrician and Neonatologist at a private hospital. He began his career in 2004 as a Pediatrics Senior Registrar at a reputable private hospital in Kuwait. Dr. Abdelaal moved to Abu Dhabi in 2010 and worked as a Pediatric Senior Specialist at a government referral hospital before accepting a position as a Pediatric Consultant at Burjeel Hospital in 2015. Dr. Abdelaal has over 30 years of experience in General Pediatrics, particularly interested in Pediatric Hematology. He also has extensive experience treating children with asthma. He is also an avid researcher, having published numerous articles in prestigious medical journals. Dr. Abdelaal is a featured speaker and member of multiple pediatric conference scientific and organizing committees.
