Biography
Dr. Abou Bakr earned his Bachelor’s degree (MBBCh) in 1986 from Cairo University in Egypt. Dr. Abou Bakr later earned a Master’s degree in Cardiology from the same institution in 1993. He earned his MD in Cardiology in 2006. Dr. Abou Bakr began his career in 1994 as a Specialist at Egypt’s National Heart Institute. He then joined a hospital in the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in 2004 as a Cardiology Specialist. Dr. Abou Bakr relocated to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2007 to practice Cardiology at a hospital in An Ain. He also worked part-time at the Nile Hospital in Egypt from 1990 to 2001. Dr. Abou Bakr is a Physician with over 25 years of experience. He is particularly skilled in non-invasive cardiac procedures such as adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, pediatric transthoracic echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, treadmill stress ECG, and HOLTER monitoring. He is also a member of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology, as well as the European Society of Cardiology Imaging.
