Dr. Ahmed Fouad Ahmed has over 36 years of professional experience, the last 32 of which have been spent in the United Arab Emirates. He earned his MBBch and MSc in Internal Medicine from the University of Alexandria, Egypt, in 1974 and 1988, respectively. He began his medical career in his native country. He moved to the UAE in 1979 and worked as a General Practitioner for the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health. He continued to practice medicine in a number of private medical facilities throughout the emirate. In 1995, he was elected a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of the United States of America. In 2009 and 2010, he received the ADNOC HSE award, and in 2000, he was inducted into the International Who’s Who of Professionals. Dr. Ahmed has authored several research articles in his native country and has participated as an investigator in international studies. He has attended medical courses in the United States and the United Arab Emirates and has presented at conferences in Italy, Spain, Greece, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain, and India.
