Dr. Amritha earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS) from Kerala University in 2006 and her Master’s Degree in Pathology from the University of Kerala in 2014. Dr. Amritha began her career as a Medical Officer in an Indian health center and later worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at KMCT Medical College in India. Additionally, she worked as a Junior Resident at the Government Medical College in India. Dr. Amritha has been a Consultant Pathologist in a super-specialty hospital since 2014. She relocated to the United Arab Emirates in July 2018 to work as a Specialist Pathologist at a private hospital in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Amritha continues her education by enrolling in a variety of courses in surgery, anatomic pathology, calibration verification and linearity, and laboratory management, among others, which equips her with the skills necessary to excel in her field. Dr. Amritha is a member of the International Academy of Cytology and has received certification from the Abu Dhabi Health Authority. She presented a paper on cerebral amyloid angiopathy at the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists and co-authored two research articles for the Indian Journal of Pathology and Oncology.
