Anna Burattin

Dr. Anna completed her graduation from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Brescia, Italy. She then went on to complete her Master’s at the same university in 2002. She is trained in radioprotection, ACLS, as well as ALS. Dr. Anna has worked extensively in her home country, Italy, where she practiced in several reputed hospitals under the National Health System of Italy. She started her career at the ASL Salo in 2002, where she handled emergency medical services. She moved to the University of Brescia in 2003 to work on bone and GH hormone research. After completion of her research, Dr. Anna rejoined the ASL Salo, where she continued as a Consultant. Subsequently, Dr. Anna practiced as an emergency doctor at the SSUEM, Gardone Val Trompia Hospital, and Spedali Civili Hospital from 2003 to 2005. After working at SSUEM, Dr. Anna joined the pharmaceutical industry and joined MITIM SRL as the Scientific Head. She then worked at the Humanitas Gavazzeni hospital as a consultant for a brief period. In 2008, Dr. Anna joined the Mellino Mellini Hospital and practiced initially as an emergency doctor and later as a Consultant in internal medicine, endocrinology, and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Anna has more than 15 years of experience in her field. She is also a keen researcher and has more than 100 publications published in reputed medical journals. Dr. Anna has extensive experience as a presenter and as a teacher. She is a Member of professional organizations which include the European Society of Endocrinology, SIMEU (Societa Italiana Di Medicina D’Emergenza-Urgenza) and SID-AMD.
