Dr. Louay Jabban
Biography
Dr. Louay earned an MD in Medicine and Surgery in 1988 from Damascus University in Syria. He then earned a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopedics in 1992 from Damascus University. Dr. Louay then spent a year in extensive training at the Damascus University Teaching Hospitals in 1983. In 1999, Dr. Louay was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He also holds traveling Fellowships at prestigious hospitals in the United Kingdom, France, South Africa, and the United States. Dr. Louay is also ATLS certified (Advanced Trauma Life Support). Dr. Louay practiced Orthopedics extensively in his native Syria until 1994. He relocated to the United Kingdom (UK) in 1994 and earned his Fellowship in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr. Louay relocated to Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 1999 and worked as a Specialist in Orthopedics at a prestigious government hospital, where he also completed a two-year fellowship in Upper Limb Surgery. Dr. Louay joined the same hospital in 2010 as a Consultant in Upper Limb and Sports Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Louay is a physician with over two decades of experience in his field. His primary areas of interest are cases involving the upper limbs, trauma, and sports injuries. He has presented at and participated in several international conferences. Dr. Louay has also authored several noteworthy research articles that have been published in prestigious medical journals.
