Biography
Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Raslan Omar earned a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery in 1998. Dr. Mohamed Omar is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London, United Kingdom, and possesses a Master’s Degree in Internal Medicine from Alexandria University in Egypt (2004). Dr. Omar spent four years (2000–2004) practicing extensively at Alexandria University Hospitals. He also worked for the Saudi Arabian National Guard hospital. Dr. Oman also practiced at Sharjah’s military hospital prior to joining Burjeel Hospital. Dr. Omar has over 18 years of experience in medicine, having worked in a variety of governmental and private hospitals in Egypt, including Ministry of Health and Military Hospitals. Dr. Omar is an expert in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, and gastrointestinal diseases. His approach to patients places a premium on the quality of care and treatment, taking into account even the smallest details to ensure patients’ comfort and well-being.
