Dr. Mohamed Farouk
Biography
Dr. Farouk earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBMCh) from Egypt’s Ain Shams University in 2003. He also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery from the same institution. Additionally, he is Certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (BLS). Dr. Farouk has extensive experience working in his native Egypt. He began his career in 2006 as an Orthopedic and Trauma Resident at Al-Helal hospital. In 2011, he was transferred to the Arab Contractors Medical Center. Dr. Farouk became a Specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma the following year. Dr. Farouk relocated his practice to Dubai in 2013, where he accepted a position as a Specialist Registrar at a government hospital. Dr. Farouk is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive experience in polytrauma and orthopedic emergencies. He is also an AO Fellow (Association for the Study of Internal Fixation). In addition to General Orthopedics, he has a special interest in the upper extremity and shoulder joint.
