Dr. Mostafa Kamal Ibrahim Attia
Biography
Dr. Mostafa earned his bachelor’s degree in 1988 (MBBCh) from Alexandria University in Egypt. In 1988, he made a Master’s degree in Emergency Medicine from the same institution. Dr. Mostafa began his career as a General Practitioner in 1983 at the Ministry of Health. In 1987, he transferred to the Alexandria University Hospital as an Emergency Medicine Resident. Dr. Mostafa relocated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in 1989 and began practicing emergency medicine at a military hospital. Dr. Mostafa returned to Egypt in 2000 as the Head of the Emergency Department at Al Mossat Hospital. Dr. Mostafa then relocated to Kuwait in 2002, where he practiced for a brief period at a government hospital. In 2003, he relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked as an Emergency Medicine Specialist and Deputy Head of Emergency Medicine at several reputable and well-known hospitals. Dr. Mostafa has worked as an emergency physician for over two decades. He teaches AHLS (Advanced Hazardous Materials Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), and European Pediatric Life Support. Additionally, Dr. Mostafa is an instructor and course director for the European advanced life support (ALS) course and an instructor for the European trauma course (ETC). He is an international instructor trainer for courses offered by the European Resuscitation Council.
