Dr. Tamer Hosny has completed a Master’s Degree in Dermatology & Venereology from Cairo University in 1997 and has acquired a Masters in Dermatology and Venereology (M.S.) in 2007 from Cairo University. Dr. Tamer has worked in Egypt for 20 years and, during his medical career, he has worked as a Lecturer in Dermatology and joined the clinical activities of the university clinics. Dr. Tamer moved to Abu Dhabi in 2015 and worked as a specialist in a JCI accredited private hospital based in Abu Dhabi and then joined Burjeel hospital in 2019. Dr. Tamer is very passionate about skin health, and he has expertise in all areas of Aesthetic Medicine. He is highly skilled and experienced at administering threads, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and all aesthetics, including therapeutic laser procedures. He is also an expert in treating autoimmune and allergic diseases, psoriasis, nail and hair disorders, and he focused his clinical engagement additionally on the treatment of skin pigmentation diseases, vitiligo, and eczema in children and adults. Dr. Tamer has researched different skin diseases like alopecia areata and different medications for treatment.
