Mohamed Salah Ahmed Gamea

Dr. Mohamed Salah Gamea, Specialist Neurology received his medical education at Tanta University, Egypt. He completed his training in neurology in Al Sahel Teaching hospital and received his Master’s degree in neuroscience from Cairo University in 2011.

Dr. Gamea started his medical career in Cairo, Egypt in a well-recognized hospital such as Al Sahel Teaching hospital and Cleopatra hospital beside his private clinic. He moved to UAE to continue his neurology practice in a well-known governmental hospital in the Al Dhafra region, Abu Dhabi. He was the first to start an acute stroke management project and established the first neurophysiology unit in Al Dhafra. He introduced treatment and follow-up to multiple sclerosis patients in this region. He was a member of the DOH stroke committee representing his healthcare facility.

Dr. Gamea has published various research and case reports in international journals in different fields of neurology. He is a member of the European Academy of neurology and the World Stroke Organization. His field of experience covers all neurology, particularly stroke, multiple sclerosis, headache, neuromuscular disorders, and epilepsy.
