Biography
Dr. Yaser Hjij graduated from Egypt’s Ain Shams University with a medical degree. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency Training at King Abdullah University Hospital in Jordan, one of the country’s largest hospitals. He also graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology with a higher specialization certificate. Dr. Hjij is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO), a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (MRCSEd), and a Board Certified Ophthalmologist by the Jordan Board of Ophthalmology (JBOphth) and the Arab Board of Ophthalmology (ABOphth). Dr. Hjij has a strong background in ophthalmology surgery, focusing on intravitreal injections, argon and yag laser surgery, and phacoemulsification procedures. Dr. Hjij is engaged in academics as an Adjunct Lecturer for medical students and board review courses at a UAE institution. In Kurnool, India, he completed a course of phacoemulsification surgery at Suseela Netralaya and Maternity Hospital. His areas of expertise include,
