Biography
Dr. Mohammad Abedian is a Consultant, General Surgery at Burjeel Medical Centre, Al Shamkha. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1991 from Iran’s Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He then earned his General Surgery degree in 1993 from Iran’s Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. He completed laparoscopic training at Tehran’s Ararat Hospital in 2001 and Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2010. He earned a Master’s degree in public health from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2007. Dr. Abedian has held various clinical, administrative, and faculty positions in hospitals and universities in his native Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
