Dr. Aditi Specialist – Orthodontist

Biography

Dr. Aditi is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality dental care. She earned a Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics with distinction from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2008. She has traveled internationally to attend various dental programs to hone her skills. In 2014, she graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, with advanced training in lingual orthodontics, micro implant anchorage, and surgical orthodontics. She then completed a mini-residency at the prestigious UConn Dental School, University of Connecticut, in the United States of America in 2017 to further develop her orthodontic skills for adults requiring accelerated and esthetic treatment options. She has been published in the World Journal of Orthodontics and is committed to lifelong learning and development. Dr. Aditi brings over a decade of orthodontic experience and expertise to Burjeel. She is a provider of the Invisalign clear aligner treatment system based in the United States.

Additionally, she has received training in various CAD-CAM lingual orthodontic appliance systems, including the German Incognito braces. Her academic training and extensive experience have equipped her with the necessary skill set to plan effective orthodontic treatments for children and adults. Her core competencies include,

• Early orthodontics (age seven onwards)
• Habit breaking appliances for children
• Growth modification for the growing patients, either solely using functional or orthopedic appliances or in combination with braces
• Use of fixed appliances like conventional metal braces or aesthetic ceramic braces.
• Self-ligating braces such as the Damon system, among others, effectively reduce treatment time using either the metallic or ceramic option as per the patient’s requirement.
• Lingual orthodontic treatment (Incognito certified)
• Invisalign treatment
• Multidisciplinary orthodontics (team approach for combined surgical and/or restorative cases)
• Temporomandibular joint disorders
• Jaw advancement appliances for sleep disorders

She also works closely with the implantology, surgical and restorative teams to tailor treatments for patients needing interdisciplinary care. Dr. Aditi is registered with the Dental Council of India as a Specialist Orthodontist. She holds professional Specialist Orthodontist licenses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and India.
