Biography
Dr. Bahaa Demian Grace completed his graduation (M.B.Ch) from the Cairo University, Kasr Al Aini School of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, in 1989. He then acquired his Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from the same institution in 1993. Dr. Bahaa subsequently received a Doctorate in Internal Medicine (MD) from Cairo University in 1999 and Post-Graduate Diploma in diabetes from Leicester University, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and the Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology group in the Internal Medicine Department, Cairo University. After completing his internship, he became an Assistant Lecturer in Internal Medicine from 1994 to 1999. Subsequently, he became a Lecturer of Internal Medicine at the Kasr Al Aini School of Medicine, Cairo University, in 2000. In 2004, he worked in the Nile Badrawi Hospital and practiced as a Consultant Physician. Dr. Bahaa has also practiced in his private clinic and was the Medical Director of Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit at the Cairo University Hospitals in 2007. He then became a Consultant Physician and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the Kasr Al Aini School of Medicine, Cairo University. In Cairo University, he helped establish vasculitis, Bechet disease, rheumatoid and SLE clinics in the Internal Medicine department and had a special interest in autoimmune diseases.
Post-2010, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he practiced at a US-affiliated hospital in Abu Dhabi as an Internist, Endocrinologist, and diabetologist. He has obtained his qualification at Leicester University in the United Kingdom. Dr. Bahaa is extensively experienced in his field. He is a regular attendee of workshops and conferences around the world. He holds key memberships in organizations which include the American Heart Association (AHA), American Diabetes Association (ADA), American Geriatric Society (AGS), and the Egyptian Society of Nephrology. His high aptitude for research has led him to publish several key papers in International Medical Journals of repute.
