Biography
Dr. Adel Mohamed Shabana completed his MBBCh from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1996 with excellent grades and honors. He was a Resident in the Cardiology department, Ain Shams University, during which he attained his Master’s Degree in Cardiology 2001. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK) in 2007 and MD in Cardiology 2013. He worked as a Cardiology Specialist in several hospitals in Egypt, KSA, Kuwait, and Qatar. He worked as a visitor Consultant in MOH, KSA. He is currently an Associate Professor of Cardiology at Ain Shams University, Egypt. He was involved in many pieces of research in different cardiology fields, mostly related to cardiac rehabilitation, with more than 15 publications in international peer-reviewed medical journals. He shared in several international cardiology conferences as an organizer, speaker, and chairperson. He was actively involved in many volunteer work in Egypt, including World Heart Day and World Hypertension Day campaigns. In addition, he was elected as Board Member of the Egyptian working group of preventive cardiology. His areas of expertise include,
