Biography

Dr. Khaled Bitar is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in correcting deformities in children and adults, performing limb lengthening and reconstruction surgeries (LLRS), treating sports injuries, and performing foot and ankle surgery. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery in the Arab Emirates. He has completed Fellowships in Degenerative Joint Disease, Sports Injuries, Pediatric Orthopedics (LLRS), and Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Malaysia Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur. Following a five-year residency in orthopedic and trauma surgery, he practiced for approximately three more years as a Fellow in Orthopedic subspecialties (pediatric orthopedics, foot, and ankle surgery, joint replacement, and sports medicine). He has performed over 1,000 Orthopedic Surgeries on adults and children, including sports injuries, joint replacements, and deformity corrections. He has over 16 years of experience and has authored numerous publications in prestigious medical journals. He has organized several international conferences in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. His clinical interests include the treatment of sports injuries and degenerative joint disease, foot and ankle surgery, limb lengthening and reconstruction, pediatric orthopedics, joint replacement surgery, hand and microsurgery, and fractures and trauma.
