Dr. Mohamad Azzam Farouk Ziade Consultant Medical Oncologist

Biography

Dr. Azzam is a Hematologist and Oncologist with over 28 years of experience. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ancona and a Master’s degree in Bone Marrow Transplantation from the Mediterranean Institute of Hematology’s International Center for Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia in Rome, Italy. Additionally, he holds a National Diploma in Medical Oncology from Padua University. He has recently been accredited and certified by the European Bone Marrow Transplant Society. He is a Member of the European and American Hematological Societies. Dr. Azzam has worked as a Consultant Oncologist and Hematologist at Rak Hariri University Hospital and General Military Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon, and at prestigious hospitals throughout the UAE (Bone Marrow Transplantation in affiliation with American University Hospital Beirut). He has completed numerous courses in Medical Oncology and Clinical Hematology (with the International Leadership of Prof. Bonadonna, Prof. Lucarelli, and Prof. Mufti). He was instrumental in presenting numerous national and international protocols, abstracts, and numerous articles in prestigious international journals. Additionally, he is undergoing ongoing training in CAR – T Cell Therapy. His areas of expertise include,
