Biography

Dr. Raad Alkhaiat worked at Al-Amal Psychiatric Hospital from 2006 to 2018 as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Head of the Psychiatric Department before opening his clinic in Sharjah’s Specialized Medical Center-Corniche. Since September 1984, he has been a Royal College of Psychiatry member. He graduated from the University of Baghdad’s College of Medicine in 1976. He has worked in various psychiatric hospitals throughout the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and several Arab countries and has presented at workshops and conferences on teaching and training. He serves on several clinical, administrative, and forensic committees and previously served as Al-Amal Hospital’s Medical Board chair. He also interviews psychiatrists to obtain a work license for the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Prevention. His clinical expertise includes,
