Dr. Sona Chaturvedi received her MBBS and MD in Anesthesia from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, India. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Health Professionals Education from Gulf Medical University, Ajman. She previously worked at the International Hospital of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, and Thumbay Hospital, Ajman, UAE, before joining Burjeel Specialty Hospital, Sharjah. Her areas of expertise include,
- Independent management of various cases, including general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, ophthalmology, etc.
- Assisted in management of patients in trauma ICU
- Administering anesthesia independently to emergency and elective procedures for patients of all age groups. This included general anesthesia, spinal, epidural, and ultrasound-guided blocks
